Individual Psychotherapy

Individual mental health counseling can help when you feel stuck, dissatisfied, or have lost pleasure in joyful activities and would like to take steps toward greater personal well-being.

I am happy to help individuals who deal with a variety of concerns, including:

  • Depression

  • Anxiety

  • Stress

  • Anger

  • Trauma

  • Family and relationship issues

  • and more

If you are committed to self-discovery, and curious about life and your place in it, I would be honored to partner with you on your therapy journey. In session, I am known to take a direct, straightforward, and honest approach when needed to progress your therapy—I believe that our work together cannot always be comfortable if we are interested in growing and learning together.

Rarely do we begin life-changing adventures for which we are truly prepared. Often, we may reach a point when we take a chance on ourselves and commit to pursuing what may bring us temporary discomfort in order to imagine a new way of experiencing life. I’m here to join you on this path to self-discovery—you provide the path and I’ll bring the light, so together we can look at what may help you grow and expand your understanding of yourself.

In therapy with me, you will get as much out of the process as you are willing to give. In my practice, I draw on my comprehensive training in eclectic, existential, relational, and psychodynamic modalities of therapy―but I believe the most effective psychotherapy focuses on developing fulfilling and meaningful connections. For this reason, I believe my mentor said it best: “the work of psychotherapy requires a trusting relationship that can sustain the warmth of connection as well as the heat that may be required for change.”

Not sure if I can help?

Please feel free to reach out—I respond to all inquiries within 48 hours (Monday - Friday) and am committed to helping you on your journey of discovery (even if it’s to help you find a therapist that has the potential to be a better match!).
